Bridal Fashion Shoot with Sherri Barber

Just getting around to blogging this shoot I did with the fabulous Sherri Barber back before wedding season heated up!
The combo of gorgeous gowns from European Bridal, hair by Liz Carter, stunning locations, and beautiful models made for a Perfect Storm of hotness.
Sherri and I had been plotting a "fun" shoot for quite some time; a chance to be creative and encourage our brides to step outside the box a bit. I enlisted my friend Robin McKerrell (who shoots a ton of sessions with me) to come out of modeling retirement, and I'm so glad she did!

Sometimes I can hardly believe how many amazing people I have met through facebook. Lana had just been in a fitness competition a few days before this session, and Erin was about a week away from competing in another, so they wanted to capture themselves at their peak condition. Such strong and gorgeous women!!

A few weeks ago my friend Onalda asked my studio mate, April Rentz, to take some headshots for her fabulous massage company, The Garage. I provided makeup...now, these are very non-makeup women, so I made sure to just bring out their very best without making them look overdone. I love how April captured their personalities!

If you are looking for massage, these are your girls; they absolutely rock. And they will even do onsite work if you are looking to have some wedding day stress relief!

recent portfolio shoot; Riana

I am a frequent "Facebook stalker" and was checking in with Riana from the Carrie Karibo shoot. She had some new images that looked fantastic, so I sent a message to the photographer she had tagged. Right away the photographer, Robin McKerrell, got back to me and asked me to work with her and Riana in two days. I jumped on it because-well, I mean, look at her. Plus Riana was going to be moving to Miami in a few days and it was the last ashot to get a few new images for her portfolio. Here are some highlights from that shoot. Isn't she amazing?
