some smokin' boudoir shots by TM photography

Tine Hofmann is the Queen of Boudoir Photography. This shoot took place at her very cool new studio downtown and I could not be more happy with the outcome. I only wish I could show more!

Ms. T

The undisputed Queen of Boudoir Photography, my dear friend Tine Hofmann is responsible for these incredibly sexy images. Tine and I both were getting an Amy Winehouse vibe off of this beautiful engaged woman. (And I guess Sam Hills was too, by the way he did her hair!)
When I arrived at her home (15 minutes early, as is my preference) a man was walking out of her front door and looked very abashed. He immediately asked to not tell him what I was there to do; his fiancee had specifically requested he be gone from the house by a certain time and he was late and I was early! She was of course trying to surprise him and he did not want to blow it. He very kindly let me in and slinked away, confessing to Ms. T via cel about his tardiness. Cute!
I can only imagine how delighted he was by the secret she kept!

We had so much fun on this shoot! Tine and Sam Hills and This Mystery Woman...doesn't it inspire to do some sexy pics? Her guy will be surprised!

Emily

First of all, if you are even toying with the idea of doing boudoir pics for your fiance or hubby, call Tine Hoffman right away! She and I did Emily's wedding last year and she was actually on my website for a while; her wedding day look was very clean, peaches and cream.
Well for this shoot we smoked 'er up. Tine generally likes for me to do an innocent girl next door look for the first half of the shoot(think boy shorts, wife beaters, your guy's sports jersey) and then a more dramatic look for the rest. I love how her eyes turned out. A friend of mine(male) used to refer to certain women who were gorgeous but dumb as having"nothing behind the eyes". emily has so much going on behind the eyes it's crazy.

more from the boudoir session

That's my boa, by the way. That thing got a lot of play that weekend, and my four year old daughter was very happy to have it back!

The trend of doing these pics for your guy (or yourself) is so hot that there is another marathon session planned for August with another photographer. I wish I could do that makeup but the weekend before Labor Day is a huge one for weddings.
I did an event for Laura Mercier yesterday at my friend Shelley's salon(Michelle Connley and Co) and will be posting some product reviews of some og their new stuff tomorrow.
There are some amazing stylists there and since they are all independent contractors, they are able to leave the salon to outside jobs, such as weddings. If you are looking for a brilliant hair guru to come to your home or hotel, please check out Theresa Vaughn. The number at the salon is 513 351 4247.

Just a few of the gorgeous shots from the boudoir shoot; more to come!I think these are inspiring me to have some taken myself-but I am sure Tina and I would just giggle the whole time.
Well my crazy busy time is just beginning; I have 70 weddings booked for 2007-! If only I could clone myself...
For those of you who don't know, I have been attending aesthetics school at night for about two months. So between that, brideface, and three kids four and under, I am a busy woman. But I can't imagine doing anything else; doing makeup isn't even work to me. (the emails, contracts and phone calls are, however; I just need a secretary.)
